A Facebook friend just posted "All milk is white, all blood is red, and all people have souls." Not all people, my dear wishful-thinking friend. I love you and for the sake of this world I too wish that was true but it just isn't. Maybe all newborns have souls, I guess that much is true. But then they grow up, life happens and makes a mess of the good intentions. I've seen it too many times to hold any illusions. All lives are sacred... until they prove themselves unworthy. My point is that turning a blind eye on the truth doesn't make it go away.
I apologize for the misleading title. I watched a movie yesterday and in it the protagonist had personal troubles and her boss told her to take the rest of the week off and sent her on a leave because "if I want you to work well you need to rest well." I laughed. Such a thing can happen only in a movie.
I Google "must see in dubai" and among top results it shows an ad for psychiatrists in Dubai? Seriously?! Are Americans really so dependable on therapy they can't make it through the day without it? This feels wrong. Sure, it is narrow-minded to jump to conclusions but then again that ad is probably there for a reason. Must be one of those "cultural differences"."
Perfect, just perfect! I get back from Dubai on September 27th and the Athens show is on September 30th. I have no idea how to pull this out because I am not sure I will be allowed to get a leave. Just perfect!
