Music for the masses

Massive Attack tonight :) I’ve never even dreamed of a MA concert in my country, much less in a venue that is at a distance of some quarter of a mile from home-I could go in my slippers if I feel like it. I just wish work in the last few days wasn’t so overwhelming-I’m so tired that I care for nothing much but to sleep. But, hey, tired or no tired I’ll be there tonight and I hope they’ll play this one:

"Get on, get on, get on..."

On Viasat History there was an announcement for a documentary on The Monkees that ended with a snippet from one of their hits-(I’m not your) Stepping stone, and on hearing it I couldn’t help exclaiming “OMG, that song is THAT old!?” I was well familiar with the tune but performed by the Manchester band The Farm; I had no idea it was originally recorded by The Monkees. Anyway, thus I reminded myself of another great song by The Farm-the still oh so very catchy “Groovy train”. *could the video be any more ridiculous?! Ah, back then image was not everything…fortunately*

In need of fun

Just bothered to check Alec Empire’s tour schedule for this summer and what do you know? On Sep 14th he’ll be in Vienna at Szene-the exact place I saw him last October! Hmm, should I stay or should I go? A concert trip will do me much good both in experience and expectancy. The excitement from an upcoming thrill is just as invigorative as the thrill itself…which comes to say that the most important part of our lives takes place inside our minds.

Now, if Jane’s Addiction were to tour Europe there would be no hesitation what so ever on my part ;) A JA concert is a must and I hope I'll have a chance for a second one.

“Animals are beautiful people”

I remember to have seen that documentary in my childhood. Out of the blue today I recalled images of wild animals eating rotten fruits, getting drunk and misbehaving in a surprisingly plausible human-like manner. It took me awhile to trace it but it was worth 100%:

“Can you find me…

…space inside your bleeding heart?”

2 months still to go before Placebo’s concert in Sofia *deep sigh*

Burst out laughing

I’m not much into birds but this little green-feathered fella made me laugh my head off:
