One of our cats died. I have no more tears left for today.

One cannot be a good person without the notion of one's own insignificance because to be a good person is to be about more than just yourself. I do believe in that. I am not always as good a person as I can be...but I know that next time I'll do better. Practice without preaching.

Random display of affection

It's early Friday morning, I'm at the bus stop waiting for my daily ride to my confinement for the next nine hours when, in the dim light, I see something scribbled on the subway railing where I'm sitting. It's very possible that this sign will last longer than the burst of hormones behind it but still it's nice to start the day with a sweet reminder that there's more to life than... that there's more to life.
