I feel the same way. I need my NIN shows and knowing this will be the last bit of the Lights in the Sky big stage production has me seriously bummed out. It was amazing while it lasted.
A friend asked me: “Last year when you returned from the NiN concerts you were a mess; you were devastated and terribly sad. Why do you want to do that to yourself?!” Yeap, post-gig depression is a living hell but…
”I know it's not the right thing
and I know it's not the good thing
but kinda I want to”
because
“this is the only time I really feel alive”
;)
Very nicely summed up. ;) lol
Thank you, Iris :)
What do you know…rumors are circling that there’ll be more US concerts in April 2009. Nothing so far on Europe though. I hope there will be official clarity on NiN future plans-whether it’s Y or N I prefer to know instead of agonizing in suspense ;)
Well don't count out Europe. Did you see the other interview where he said that he was going to hit up some music festivals there before putting on the brakes. you guys still might get some dates! (And if you haven't seen the video yet, it's posted on our blog too)
Yeap, it was on your blog that I watched the interview-thanks! The thought they’ll be playing in Europe is of course extremely exciting for me although my initial enthusiasm went downcast when I heard they’ll be doing festivals only and, hmm, a crowd of 3000 is cozy; a crowd of 30000 is already scary. Ah, it’s not like I can choose so enough whining. It’s all good as long as he keeps on touring :)
