Cheers!

Today I made sure to show up at my favorite café after their opening hours - and still I turned out to be the first customer. As the waiter put it “I’m really glad that you were the first to come - I take that as a good omen!”

I love to be here on any day but January 1st is always special. Everyone is in good spirits and all I hear are words of good will and love. On January 1st people are exactly as I want them to be all year round.

When I said farewell to 2016 there wasn't even a trace of regret on my mind, only a genuine feeling of warmth, serenity and hope. And that too is a good omen.
