"There is a dream inside a dream"...

A nightmare woke me up in early morning. I fell back to sleep but the nightmare resumed from the point it was interrupted. In this dream I was in London (no idea why) with a friend. We were just about to go out for a stroll when an air-raid was carried out on our hotel and I realized a war had just begun. The dream felt awfully realistic and far more dreadful than any of the stereotyped nightmarish scenarios simply because it portrayed a real danger, not some insane movie-like plot but something I lately see everyday in the news. The atheist that I am and yet my first reaction to shake off the cold sweat was to utter: God forbid!
