Stuck with a life

Taking care of an old dog is like looking after a person either in the dawn or the dusk of his life-both are helpless and completely dependable on someone else’s benevolence and sense of responsibility. Old age is nothing but ugly.

Old age is only ugly if the life b4 it was slow and disgruntled. If a life has been lived to the full age is a beautiful thing. However i do agree it can be harsh and cruel.

It’s the agony to watch someone you love more than anything/anyone else decay and slowly wither that I meant. The fact that I’m talking about my dog doesn’t mean my pain isn’t real or should be taken lightly. He realizes there’s something wrong going on with him but he doesn’t understand why. And it kills me to know I’m helpless to turn back the time.
I’m sorry if I sound blunt as I suspect I do. In times of trouble I usually try to find something positive as an outcome, to find a light in the darkness because troubles are rarely irreversible. In this case however there’s none.

Thanks for stopping by-I always welcome a different point of view :)
