May you find what you’re looking for.

Oh no, if he finds what he is looking for, he will stop making music...

You’re joking, right? I am selfish but I’m not THAT selfish :)) If quitting music would make him happy why not do it? (I don’t say he’s not happy-how would I know?! I just say it’s his own business and no one else’s.) Over the past few years he has proved (at least to himself, I think) that depression is not the only source of inspiration.
I feel awkward speaking on his behalf :)

well, you've been following for i don't know how many shows now, so maybe you could just ask him what it is he's trying to believe.

You made me giggle again when I least expected it :))
5 shows in 10 days is really nothing comparing to ummmm over 30 shows in 2 months (that was what some people did on the spring tour) . Of course the only obstacle is money. You know, at first I was a bit concerned whether it was wise for me to jump in the deep i.e. to do so many (because 5 shows seemed quite a lot then) concerts in such a short time. I couldn’t have gone more wrong about it. When I was telling friends and relatives I was going to see 3 concerts (I had 3 tickets when I left for Amsterdam; I managed to find 2 more on the way) in Europe they all said: “Cool. Whish bands?”; “Well, it’s just one band.”; “What?! You’re seeing one band 3 times?! You’re crazy!”. They just wouldn’t understand but you do.
So, I don’t (none of us does) get any privileges for attending a few shows but however there is something I can do. I can ask that question in the “Questions for Trent” thread on the Spiral once it gets open again (the thread gets closed every 5 pages and reopens after Trent answers to some of the posted questions). But then again it is a matter too personal to ask.
What would YOUR answer to that question be? What do YOU believe in?

I believe in Trent. And i'm trying to believe that we all can be a little better if we try.

stupid, right?

Do you really expect me to confirm?! No, it’s not stupid at all. How can it be since it is your own choice and what you believe in is all that should matter? As about Trent…surprisingly (to him mostly I presume) he turned out to be a great role model-he managed to climb up all by himself when everybody else believed it was the end of him (not me of course; I've never doubted there’d be another NIИ album; I just thought it takes a long time to create a great piece of art). And he makes no compromises with what he thinks is the right thing to do regardless of anyone’s opinion. He was and he is my favorite musician but now I respect him as a person as well and the feeling is beyond words. No, what you say is anything but stupid.
