On my toes

It’s so easy to lose it-the gentle touch, the human touch; to let your animal side get the better of you. The line is thin and when I feel I’m close to crossing it I turn to beauty for rescue. It is the faculty to appreciate beauty that divides humans from animals. How sad that that gift is wasted on many of us.
